Identifying
Patterns and Links:
This stage is important because it can look at the
background of suspects of other crimes that may be potentially linked to
others. Also this can help with the communication of other police forces who
may share information which may be valuable to the case. This can also help
solve similar crimes that may have been committed and only having being solved
due to the links it has.
This stage is important because this can help identify
suspects to the crime due to links they may have with other crime. Also it is
important for the different police forces to share information and communicate
because if there are no lead suspects of your crime, another police force may
provide valuable information which might make links causing the identification
a possible suspect.
This stage was not carried out straight after the crime has
been committed. Information had not been communicated to other forces until
days after her disappearance. Although possible were made, no one has been
prosecuted.
